THE REAL ESTATE PRACTITIONER

It was the 1st of May 2012, when he finally decided, not to work on a Sunday. It was a personal belief and he wants to make a stand for it. Being in real estate, an industry where most clients are available on weekends, especially on “Sundays”, it’ll be a great loss of business opportunity. But, he’s out there to break the normal rules and practices of real estate. And to prove that it’s still possible to thrive and survive in this industry, without compromising what an individual believes, is the “real and more important things in life”.

Now, if you’re still reading this, he’ll take that opportunity to share more about his career. He started in real estate back in November of 2002, doing local and overseas sales and marketing operations for different real estate developers (Ayala Land, Belle, Brittany & Century Properties) in the Philippines. In between the year of 2008 and 2012, that’s when he realized, there are things in life that he have compromised, in exchange for what his work requires. Things, that he personally felt are “real and more important” than work or career. With that, he decided to take the Real Estate Brokers Exam, held last March 18, 2012.

So, to cut the story short, he’s now a Licensed Real Estate Broker. With the said license, he’s hopeful that it’ll give him a chance to put a STOP to that compromise, but still exercise his real estate practice. And through this blog he hopes to share with the world (especially to his kids, once they’re “more mature” and able to use the internet) where his beliefs have taken him. That someday, somehow, he’ll be a part of “CHANGE”, that he wants to see in his industry and in this part of the world that he lives in.

He likes to say thank you for dropping by and for your time. As most business-minded  people would say, “time is gold”. As for him, he’d stick with this one, “time, is the greatest measure of love”.

Have a blessed day!

P.S. He failed, here. BUT, HE WILL TRY AGAIN, here. 😉

THE REAL ESTATE PRACTITIONER (as of 26 Feb 2017)

I got started in the real estate industry during the early 2000s. But, it took me almost a decade, before I finally summoned the courage, and decided not to work on a Sunday. It’s a personal belief and I wanted to make a stand for it. Being in real estate, an industry where most clients are available on weekends, especially on “Sundays”, I understand that it’ll be a great loss of business opportunity. However, I have nothing against those individuals, whose dedication and drive are way beyond mine. My simple goal is to discover, if it’s still possible to thrive and survive in the real estate industry, without compromising what an individual believes, is the “real and more important things in life”.

There are things in life that I have compromised, in exchange for what my work or career requires. Those stages in life gave me the motivation to be a Licensed Real Estate Broker back in March 2012. With the said license, I’m hopeful that it’ll give me a chance to put a stop to that compromise, while still exercising my real estate practice. It is my hope that someday, somehow, I’ll be a part of “CHANGE”, that I wanted to see in the real estate industry that I’m a part of.

P.S. I failed, here. Tried again, here. And will continue trying.
